Hello! I am sharing some workplace casual outfits I’m loving for spring. I wore these outfits during the month of February for the 75 Hard Style Challenge. Many of these workplace casual outfits can transition in to spring outfits. Since the pandemic, the dress code in the office is more casual than ever. Jeans and sneakers are very common. I have adjusted my work style to incorporate most outfits with jeans and sneakers. However, I do still wear flats, loafers and heels. I I would say I’m wearing sneakers about half the week.
Workplace Casual Outfits
Looking back on the month I wore a lot of different neutrals. I also wear very similar base outfits in which I wear a basic top and bottom and switch up the blazer and accessories. This Michele Jacket from Sezane is paired with jeans and a black bodysuit. Trouser jeans are part of my regular denim rotation and this pair from J.Crew is a favorite. I have these jeans in a tall length and I used a pair of fabric scissors to cut them to length. I prefer a finished hem to wear to the office, however, if I know I’m mostly going to be on calls I will wear these jeans.
Next is an outfit featuring a lady jacket sweater from J.Crew. Stripes are in regular rotation for me as well. I’ve paired this striped sweater with a pair of skinny flare jeans. This pair from J.Crew has the perfect amount of stretch, is high rise and looks polished paired with a small heel. I’ve paired with camel colored accessories with the belt, bag and shoes. This is an outfit that is casual but work appropriate since the sweater looks more like a jacket. I have this sweater in two different stripe colors.
This outfit is another favorite workwear casual outfit combination featuring charcoal colored jeans. I’ve kept my base outfit simple with the jeans and a black cashmere tee. White sneakers make this a bit more casual. In addition, I can also pair a heeled boot or loafer with this outfit. I’ve balanced the casual sneakers with gold accessories. I’m wearing one of my investment handbags, the Christian Dior Bobby bag, and other gold accents. I would swap out the boots for slingback neutral heels to wear this outfit in to spring
Lastly, another favorite neutral combination with navy, grey and camel. I am wearing the Sezane Michele Jacket which was one of my first blazer purchases from Sezane. This is a three season jacket in my opinion and the gold buttons give it some extra polish. I paired with medium wash Curvy Perfect Vintage jeans from Madewell, a grey long sleeve cashmere tee and white sneakers and camel accessories. You could swap out the long sleeve sweater for warmer weather and roll the sleeves up and also wear lighter wash jeans.
I hope you’ve found some inspiration for workplace casual outfits whether it’s for the office or everyday. These outfits can all transition in to spring, I’d swap long sleeves for short sleeves and boots for flats. A blazer is always a good idea for an air conditioned office! Would you wear any of these outfits? Which are your favorite? Would love to hear your feedback and thanks for stopping by!
