Ok, so that’s a Kate Spade slogan and I’m not wearing a lick of KS in this post…but the phrase popped in my head and I went with it. I finally received my J.Crew inspired color crush necklace from Groopdealz this past week and was eager to wear it. This is definitely one of those necklaces that until I saw it on others, I probably wouldn’t have been too wowed with it based on the website. But now that I have it, I’m finding it is a great infusion of color to outfits and I’m looking forward to wearing it many more times before the summer is out and figuring out how to work it in to my fall/winter wardrobe.
This outfit started with the necklace and the J.Crew No. 2 cotton pencil skirt in Royal Violet from last summer. I honestly don’t own a ton of white blouses, so I really find myself going for the polka-dot Natasha in place of a plain white blouse and well, I loved the result. As long as I was going bright, the J.Crew Factory Clare cardigan in festival green was next, although really I could have gone any other bright color and it would have coordinated with the necklace. I decided to opt for a neutral shoe, the Crewlet Emery flat, since I had the color covered everywhere else. So, what do you think? Too much color or spot on? Would love to hear what you think and thanks for visiting!
